Past portfolios include The Socio-Economic Research Unit (SERU) at the Prime Minister’s Department and the Centre of Policy Research (CPR) University Sains Malaysia. In the corporate sector, Dr. Jacob was the Senior Administrator at Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC), American Multi National Company, Flextronics (flex), and several non-governmental organizations on the domestic and international stage.

Dr. Jacob is also an expert in Law and Government Relations within the Asean, Apec and South Asia regions. He is a sought-after speaker, writer and resource person at domestic and international meets, conferences, and with national and international media groups.
